What is Ronin?
Ronin is a high-performance Ethereum-compatible sidechain built by Sky Mavis for Axie Infinity. It speeds up gameplay and reduces gas fees by processing most transactions off the Ethereum mainnet. The network uses a native RON token for staking, governance, and paying for network operations, supporting a thriving ecosystem of Axie Infinity and other dApps.
Why does Ronin have inflation?
Ronin has inflation to fund network security and ecosystem growth. New RON tokens are minted and distributed to validators and the Ronin Treasury to reward participation, cover operational costs, and fund ongoing development.
How is Ronin inflation calculated?
