What is Radicle?
Radicle is a decentralized, open-source code collaboration network that lets developers host and contribute to projects without relying on centralized servers. Built on a peer-to-peer, Git-inspired architecture, Radicle emphasizes sovereignty, privacy, and censorship resistance to enable secure, distributed software collaboration.
Why does Radicle have inflation?
Radicle does not have a native inflation mechanism because it does not issue a token or mint new supply. If a token were introduced in the future, its inflation would be determined by governance and ecosystem funding decisions, not by the current protocol.
How is Radicle inflation calculated?
Radicle inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
