What is Pieverse?
Pieverse is a decentralized cryptocurrency powering the Pieverse ecosystem with fast, low-cost transactions and community-driven governance. Built on a scalable blockchain, Pieverse enables seamless payments, DeFi apps, and staking rewards that incentivize participation. By combining secure consensus with user-friendly tooling, Pieverse aims to democratize finance and empower builders, holders, and validators.
Why does Pieverse have inflation?
Pieverse has inflation by design to reward network security and participation: new tokens are minted as block rewards for validators, stakers, and liquidity providers. The emission is structured to progressively decrease over time to balance supply with demand.
How is Pieverse inflation calculated?
Pieverse inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
