What is Forta?
Forta is a decentralized real-time security network for blockchains. It deploys a global fleet of security agents (nodes) that monitor on-chain activity and issue security alerts to protect DeFi protocols and users. The native token, FORTA, incentives operators and funds ongoing network security.
Why does Forta have inflation?
Forta has inflation because new FORTA tokens are minted to reward node operators and fund ongoing security operations on the network. This emission incentivizes participation and helps sustain decentralization as the ecosystem grows.
How is Forta inflation calculated?
Forta inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
