What is Codatta?
Codatta is a next-generation cryptocurrency designed for fast, secure transactions and scalable smart contracts on a decentralized blockchain. It adopts a transparent emission model and a community-driven treasury that funds network growth and DeFi applications, while offering low fees, energy-efficient validation, and developer-friendly tooling for global adoption.
Why does Codatta have inflation?
Inflation in Codatta is by design: new tokens are minted as block rewards and governance emissions to incentivize validators, secure the network, and fund ongoing development and liquidity. The emission rate is transparent and typically decays over time to balance growth and value.
How is Codatta inflation calculated?
Codatta inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
