What is Ankr?
Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure platform that makes it easy to deploy and access blockchain nodes, RPC endpoints, and cloud-based services. The ANKR token powers staking, governance, and pay-as-you-go access to decentralized infrastructure, helping developers build and deploy faster while supporting network security.
Why does Ankr have inflation?
Ankr has inflation to reward network participants—such as validators and node operators—and to fund ongoing development and ecosystem growth; the minting follows an emission schedule that balances incentives with token supply to sustain the network over time.
How is Ankr inflation calculated?
Ankr inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
How is Ankr emission calculated?
