What is Metis-token?
Metis-token (METIS) is the native token of the Metis Network, a Layer 2 Ethereum scalability solution that speeds up transactions and lowers gas costs for DeFi and dApps. METIS powers staking, governance, and fee-sharing within the Metis ecosystem, supporting fast finality and a developer-friendly environment.
Why does Metis-token have inflation?
Metis-token has inflation because the protocol continuously issues new METIS to incentivize validators and stakers and to fund the Metis DAO treasury for ongoing development and ecosystem growth. The emission rate is governed by the community and can change over time as part of Metis’ tokenomics.
How is Metis-token inflation calculated?
