What is Arpa?
Arpa is a privacy-preserving computation platform powered by the ARPA token. It uses secure multi-party computation (MPC) to enable private data analytics and secure data collaboration for enterprises, data scientists, and developers. ARPA aims to unlock data value while keeping privacy at the core of AI and analytics workflows.
Why does Arpa have inflation?
Arpa has inflation because the protocol mints new ARPA tokens as incentives to participants—such as compute providers, validators, and developers—supporting ongoing security and network growth. This planned token issuance funds ecosystem development, governance, and continued participation in the network.
How is Arpa inflation calculated?
Arpa inflation is calculated by comparing the circulating supply from one year ago to today’s supply. The percentage increase in supply over that period is the annual inflation rate. Learn more in our guide: What is cryptocurrency inflation?.
